About Us
Where language learning meets global living.
Yataka Academy (formally known as Yataka Legend) was founded in 2007 to give international learners a place where English is not just studied, but lived. From our Setapak campus, we welcome students from every continent for short courses, vacation programmes, exam preparation and long-term language pathways.
Every programme is mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and taught by certified instructors holding CELTA, DELTA or equivalent qualifications. Class sizes are capped at ten students so every learner gets feedback, attention, and the chance to speak in every lesson.
We believe a city is the best classroom. Lessons spill out into Kuala Lumpur's hawker centres, museums, parks and public squares — places where students practise the language in real conversations with real people.
